Accommodations

Accommodations at Harborside include our original one- and two- bedroom cottages on the harbor and our newest addition of Tom's House, a year round 3-bedroom house on an adjoining property with large lawn and water views.

Our housekeeping cottages are supplied with almost everything that you will need for a comfortable week's stay. All cottages have fully equipped kitchens including refrigerators and camp-sized stoves with ovens, automatic coffee-makers, cookware, dishes and lobster pots. All cottages also have electric heat and 3/4 sized baths with showers. We supply blankets, bath mats and kitchen towels. We do prefer, however, that you bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and bath towels. We can, if requested, supply linens for an additional rental fee (see rates).

Our cozy one-bedroom cottages (the Petrel, Heron, and Tern) are perfect for two people or for a family with one child (maximum three adults). Each cottage contains two twin-sized beds in the bedroom, and one cot-sized bed in the living room.

Our two-bedroom cottages each sleep a maximum of six adults and are furnished with two twin-sized beds in each bedroom and a full-sized futon pull-out couch in the living room. They also have Franklin fireplaces with all wood supplied. The Cormorant and Osprey are our oldest but most requested two-bedroom cottages because of their location directly on the water. The Teal, Mallard, Gull and Loon (Loon also waterfront) are our newest cottages and feature a more open, roomy floor plan.

For those looking for a house rental, we are happy to be able to offer Tom's House, a year round three-bedroom house, perfect for larger families or even for two smaller families vacationing together. Tom's House features an eat-in kitchen with full range of appliances, dining room, large living room with wide-pine floors and beams, an enclosed sun porch, a full bath downstairs, a large master bedroom with two queen-sized beds and private bath, and two additional bedrooms each with two twin-sized beds and a shared bath (sleeps a maximum of 8 adults). All linens are provided and the house is also equipped with a telephone, cable TV, DVD, and washer and dryer. All front rooms feature wonderful water views. There is an especially large lawn perfect for family activities like football, wiffleball, or Frisbee and there is also access to the harbor and dock at adjoining Harborside. Tom's House is perfectly situated in the village of New Harbor, with only a three minute walk to the Hardy Boat for daily ocean excursions and to famous Shaw's Lobster Wharf for fresh seafood meals. Both Pemaquid Beach and Pemaquid Point are a short five minute drive away.
